Trust Before Transactions

I hope this message finds you and your loved ones doing well. I wanted to share with you that late last year, I joined district-homes.com, an elite group of real estate professionals based in Berkeley. We recently relocated to a larger office space at 1758 Solano Ave. If you find yourself in the area, feel free to drop in.

You may have heard me say this before: I had real reservations about pursuing a career in real estate. Realtors rank among some of the least trusted professions. Wonder why? Watch the movie Glengarry Glen Ross. The profession indeed has a shady history, especially as it relates to issues around discrimination. Being viewed in this (high pressure, say whatever to get the deal closed) light doesn't sit well with me. It isn't how I move through the world. I work differently with people.

I have put a lot of thought and effort into clarifying and communicating my ethos as an agent. I have developed a personal motto that is growing into the brand that people identify me by: "Trust Before Transactions."

I care about authentically connecting with people. I care more about building trust with people than closing on any deal. I believe in giving people unbiased information so they can make the best decisions for themselves. This is what you can expect when working with me.
